Gaspari Nutrition researchers utilized proprietary Osm Technology to finely tune Glycofuse in solution to ensure a low osmolality to achieve this balance which means a faster gastric clearance. They have chosen to deliver only pure Highly Branched Cyclin Dextrin to athletes looking for a clinically studied carbohydrate for their high performance power, glycogen loading, and endurance needs with a proven track record.
GlycoFuse is not your everyday carb powder comprised of dextrose, maltodextrine, fructose or anything like that. Glyco Fuse is Highly Branched Cyclic Dextrin (HBCD). HBDC also goes by the name of Cluster Dextrin in some other supplements. It isn’t necessarily designed to be used only post-workout like other carb products to facilitate recovery, though you can use it that way. I would recommend using it as an intra-workout as well. By increasing branching in the molecule, it becomes much more accessible to the digestive enzymes in your small intestine. This extends the absorption time of the HBCD. The result: a sustained release of glucose into the bloodstream throughout your workout.

Add 1 scoop per 8-12 fl. oz. (236-354 mL) of water. Take before, during or after training.
I’ve tried both the Strawberry-Kiwi and the Orange Mango Twist. I have to give a slight edge to the Strawberry, but both taste great. These shakes and HBCD mixe pretty thick when using multiple scoops. In cold water it clumps mildly (no problems with room temp water though). There’s also a good amount of foam up top every single time. You have to get in the habit of shaking this before you take every sip in between sets to minimize the small chunks, and the foam makes it hard to get that last sip out of there.
The carb energy feel is much different than a stimulant energy feel, but I do feel a nice surge in energy which lasts my entire workout. This most directly translates to increased endurance, and I can tell my fatigue is greatly delayed as opposed to when I’m not using it. You also notice a solid pump, almost as you get from nitrate products. The next day you feel fresh and ready to go, it’s noticeable in recovery opposed to the days I didn’t take it.
I see no point in taking this on off days, so those 25-30 workouts should last you anywhere from 3 – 7 weeks depending on what kind of split you use. I can easily justify spending $45 for 60 servings on a product that works.
All in all. This is some great stuff. If you’re tired of waximaze. Or if this is your first carb product, for the right price, I’d say give it a fair shot. I can’t necessarily recommend it if you’re cutting because any insulin response will blunt the fat burning process during a workout. But when it’s all systems go for new muscle, you better believe this stuff works.
