I can only talk about the milk chocolate flavor, and let me tell you this might be one of the best tasting protein blends I have ever tried. Tastes like a milk chocolate bar melted down, I used it in my shakes and I was tempted to use more then two scoops, but it is expensive so I held back. If you are using one scoop with water, use about 6-8oz of water.
No issues with mixing at all, I usually use a blender or a cup, both worked great. It mixed smooth and went down easy, and it is not watery as some whey isolates get. In shakes use 2 scoops.
Compared to other isolate proteins this seems to digest a little faster and hasn’t caused any discomfort to my stomach that some isolates have done before. One of my favorite applications was using it as a part of my custom lean gainer shakes as and even when mixed with oatmeal powder, I didn’t have any stomach discomfort. I also use it as a post workout protein, and the recovery was right where I expected it to be. Certainly a very versatile and effective protein, plus when you are trying to gain lean muscle you want a protein with little to none fat and this product is ideal.
Ouch, for me this is where it lacks. I think average price is 45$ for a 3lb tub, I feel that is too high for the amount you get no matter how good the quality is. I guess it depends on your budget and what not.
I like this protein, it’s low in carbs, it helped me recover fast and it tastes great. Other then the price I really can’t find the negatives, and the new labeling on this product is pretty easy to understand. I recommend trying it out, like I said I only tried the milk chocolate, I have heard people have mixed feelings on the orange flavor, and that the vanilla is solid. Since it’s still fairly new it’s hard to rank this supplement but I believe it is here to stay as very solid whey isolate option to all forms of athletes.
