Ok so I tried the lemon drop flavor and basically it tastes like a lemon/lemon-lime drink. With one scoop you get enough flavor, with two it becoes a bit sweet and tart at the same time for me.
Mixes all the way but you will get foam, which goes away after about 30 seconds, no big deal to me.
Basically what we nees from a intra-workout supplement is decreased recovery time during a workout & boosted output. Compete does those things, & provided some pretty good pumps too. If you take one scoop you will get everything except big pumps, I usually used to scoops because I like to have good pump and great focus during the workout, compete definitely came through in that department. It gave me increased performance, better endurance, shorter recovery times, & convenient pumps, for more I can’t really ask from an intra-workout supplement.
50 one scoop servings will run you about 25-30$ depends where you get it. If you only use one scoop the value is awsome.
Compete is a great intra-workout and supplement overall because of several reasons. First of all, it has an excellent profile with what seems proper dosages of active ingredients; it has electrolytes, no stimulants, no creatine, mixes well, tastes great and the value is good. This supplement is not limited to weight lifting, it can be used in any activity. especially those that require optimal levels of hydration. It does not have any banned substances and its addition to your workout makes a big difference in your endurance. I recommend giving it a try.
