Modern BCAA’s usesa 8:1:1 ratio of branched chain aminos and some glutamine and electrolytes. 10g of Amino’s per serving with not fillers most companies will shove in theirproducts. There are only three ingredients. Citric Acid, Natural Flavors, and Sucralose.
With a new 8:1:1 ratio, Modern BCAA+ heavily targets mTOR (Mammalian Target of Rapamycin) – which is a large protein responsible for cell functions, both in fat and muscle. But mainly, mTOR is responsible for muscle growth and protein synthesis.
I had the raspberry flavor, which I gotta say I enjoyed, it was refreshing, and energetic to drink. It tastes better then it smells when you open the tub I’ll tell you that. There’s a weird smell I can’t describe but turned out ok to taste.
Use room temperature liquid or you will regret it, it foams up will cold water pretty bad. In regular temp it mixes great, just what i figured out, after few times of course.
You notice when you take it versus the off days, the recovery is awesome, you get get more reps in at the gym, could be the placebo effect but felt stronger and can even say I felt a pump from it. I think this did what a bcaa cocktail is supposed to, you can’t ask for more. It was effective for me.
The price is very reasonable at about 65-70 cents a serving which is about the same as ever so popular Xtend.
Very solid BCAAs cocktail, you get the 8;1;1 ratio, great recovery, decent taste. Priced ok, I would recommend it to anybody looking to add a good blend of aminos to their stack.
