Our Review of Ronnie Coleman’s Pro Antium Protein Powder.
Pro-Antium protein powder from the Ronnie Coleman Signature Series has been out for a while, ad we finally had one of our testers give it a run and write a review for us. Before we get to the review of Pro Antium protein we will give you a little bit info on the supplement. Pro Antium Protein Powder is a blend of different release time protein sources (Whey concentrate, Milk protein isolate, Whey isolate, Whey hydrolisate, Miscellar casein etc..) making it it ideal for lasting energy and meal replacement shake that will help you recover faster.
Pro Antium Protein comes in a 50 serving tub, with each serving containing 29 grams of protein, 5 grams of Creatine, about 200 calories and 5 grams of fat. You do get BCAAs and EAAs in Pro Antium, as well as a fair amount of vitamins and minerals. If you are bodybuilding this can be ideal between meals, in our opinion the 5 grams of creatine per serving is great but only if you are taking Pro Antium protein shake once a day, more then 5 grams of creatine can be a bit much to take in per day.
Overall the Pro Antium from Ronnie Coleman stacks up well with the top protein powders on the market, you get Betaine in every serving which helps absorption, the value is not great but most protein powder these days run around 50$. We recommend drinking Pro Antium once or twice a day max because of the added creatine.
I got the Double Chocolate Cookie flavor and it could be one of the best, most flavorful protein powders I have tried in a long time. It can feel a little rich but I like it, even just mixing it with water after the gym. No complains from me in this area.
If you try stirring this with a spoon at home you will be there all day, I recommend a blender bottle/cup or an actual blender to get the smoothness you wanna see in a shake. Even with a cup if you don’t shake it enough it will clump a little but I didn’t see any serious issues in this area, good overall.
Used it pre, post and between meals when I needed to, can’t complain, Pro Antium Protein does what it should, it kept me full between meals, I didn’t notice any bloating, there was some gas as you get with most protein powders but nothing crazy. Next day you wake up recovered, not as hungry either because it does have slow acting proteins in the blend. I mean this isn’t some god sent protein powder but it’s as good as any quality protein powder on the market. If you are looking to switch it up a bit from what you are taking now, I think this is a great tasting, nutritious supplement worth a try.
This is where Pro Antium protein kinda takes a hit in my book, under 60$ depends where you buy it, it’s a little on the pricey side, but depends on your budget really. The profile is there, maybe creatine mono should have been left out but overall I would buy it again.
